After months of dreaming, designing, and refining — she’s here.

Monroe is the second Showit website template in the Studio Gail collection, designed especially for wedding planners (but just as lovely for photographers and videographers) who want their online home to feel as intentional as the work they create.

Where Palmer is crisp and coastal, Monroe is all candlelight and lace. She’s romantic textures, handwritten vows, and ceremony programs pressed with foil. Warm, intimate, and editorial — a quiet nod to the planners who don’t just execute weddings, but shape entire experiences.

Her story began with a single image — a beautiful, European wedding scene that captured everything I hoped she would feel like: romantic, timeless, and transportive. In the early days of designing her, she found a home with the talented @hannahpennington, whose generous permission allowed me to carry her visuals into the template demo.

Then, earlier this year, I released a HoneyBook version of Monroe especially for planners, and it received more love than I could have imagined. That response affirmed what I already felt: planners needed something more intimate, more editorial, more story-rich.

And from there, she was born.

While I could talk about her dreamily for pages (you know I could), I’d rather show you what she’s made of — page by page.

The Home Page

This page is designed to do set the tone with softness and confidence. From the first scroll, Monroe positions you as a tastemaker, a creative director, and a calming presence.

It includes space to:

  • Show a glimpse of your signature work
  • Share a short, intentional welcome
  • Weave in subtle testimonials to build quiet trust

Monroe’s home page feels like a whisper. Editorial without being intimidating, romantic without being overdone. It’s a space where emotion and professionalism coexist — because your clients need both.

The About Page

I’ve always believed that planners are, at heart, relationship-builders. You spend longer with your clients than almost any other vendor – and Monroe’s About Page is designed to reflect that.

Here’s what it includes:

  • A section for your team (because most planning work is beautifully collaborative)
  • Thoughtful space to share your values, philosophy, and process
  • Gentle prompts to guide your writing — so it never feels awkward or forced

It helps clients feel like they’re hiring a human (or a team of them), not just a service. The kind of people they can trust with their day, and with their hearts.

The Experience Page

This is my favorite page in Monroe — and it’s intentionally not called “Services.” For planners, this isn’t just about packages. It’s about the journey you create.

Monroe’s Experience Page walks clients through:

  • Your process from first meeting to final toast
  • Your approach to communication and care
  • The transformation you provide, not just the logistics you manage

It’s also structured to guide visitors toward full-planning and high-touch services, gently discouraging day-of coordination bookings without ever needing to say so explicitly. (But planners — you’ll feel it.)

There’s room to highlight standout weddings, a gallery strip for featured events, and individual project pages for the ones that deserve their own spotlight.

The Gallery / Portfolio Page

I designed this section to feel almost like an exhibition — quietly curated, art-forward, meant to be moved through slowly. Rather than rigid grids, Monroe creates a sense of rhythm between imagery and space, making each wedding or event feel cinematic.

You can organize by couple, location, or event — whatever best reflects your body of work. But the feeling remains consistent: this is legacy work.

Client praises continue here, woven with care — reinforcing that the beauty your clients see in the images is matched by the experience they had behind the scenes.

The Individual Featured Gallery: Your Best Events

Instead of burying special weddings in a larger archive, Monroe gives them their own space. Think of these as digital keepsake albums.

Each page includes:

  • A couple’s story and design vision
  • Thoughtful planning details
  • Vendor team credits
  • Curated image galleries or select features

This is where your work becomes legacy — inspiring future clients and honoring past clients with thoughtful context and visual storytelling. These pages are perfect for press, for portfolio work, or for simply giving your best events the home they deserve.

The Blog

Monroe’s blog design is simple but striking — meant to support planners who want to share:

  • Wedding planning advice
  • Destination tips
  • Behind-the-scenes insights
  • Style forecasts or design direction

It helps you connect with your audience before they ever inquire — building familiarity, trust, and resonance. It’s also an ideal tool for planners who want to build trust, attract aligned clients, or grow their SEO presence without sacrificing beauty.

The Inquire Page: Trust Leads to Action

Inquiry shouldn’t feel stressful — and Monroe’s Inquire Page makes it simple and beautiful.

You can include:

  • A clear, mobile‑friendly form
  • Brief FAQs to set expectations
  • A thoughtful confirmation message that feels personal

Small touches like these help your client feel held before you’ve even spoken.

Thoughtful Extras That Make Monroe Special

Monroe isn’t just beautiful — she’s intentional. Here’s what else she includes:

  • A beautiful “Links” page (great for social media or press)
  • Mobile‑optimized design for on‑the‑go scrolling
  • No code required — intuitive customizations
  • Optional investment guide opt-in
  • Messaging prompts throughout to help with writing
  • Custom 404 page + thoughtful credits
  • Fully customizable — no code needed

Everything is designed to make your life easier — and your brand stronger.

Why I Built Monroe

I’ve worked with so many planners whose taste is exquisite, whose events are editorial-worthy, whose client care is unmatched — and yet their websites didn’t reflect the level at which they operated.

Monroe is my love letter to the planners.

She’s here to dignify your work, to honor the role you play, and to give your online home the romance, depth, and elegance it deserves.

She’s warm, mature, emotionally intelligent — and just like you, she sees the wedding day as more than just an event.
It’s a story worth telling, beautifully.

So, Is She Yours?

If you’re ready to finally have a website that feels like home, Monroe’s here, waiting for you.
