We are deep into fall here in Virginia, and things are lovely.
October has always felt like a homecoming – cooler mornings, shadowy golden light, and a well deserved permission slip to slow down. This season scratches my witchy little soul in all the right ways: antique markets, pumpkin patches, long walks with Bowie, and slow evenings lit by pumpkin candles and a my kindle.
It’s the kind of energy that reminds me to create for the love of it and to stay close to what feels personal and true.

In the Studio
Inside the studio, things are simmering in the best way.
→ Palmer is still having her moment — thank you for all the love this season. If you’ve been eyeing her, a little treat: she’s $200 off through the end of October with code PALMERLOVE.
→ Monroe arrives next month, and I can’t wait to introduce her to you. She’s romantic, editorial, and just a little nostalgic.
And yes, the template shop is about to get much busier. New designs are on the way and if you like a good surprise (and a good deal), you’ll want to join our shop waitlist. Trust me — the holiday promos are going to be worth it.

Inspired By
This month’s design direction is a little softer, leaning into that scrapbook-meets-library feel.
- Classic scripts paired with understated serif italics
- Pearl details, paper clips, and whimsical mockups
- Lace doilies and cross-stitch textures
- Fonts that whisper, not shout
- Editorial layouts with just a hint of shadow and story
Think: bookish magic and brand design. Pressed flowers, heirloom fonts, and soft storytelling that makes you want to cuddle and create more.
