Life never really pauses, but fall has this way of asking us to slow down. It invites us to linger in small, quiet moments—hot drinks in hand, candles flickering, and sweaters pulled on just right. This October has been full of sweet new routines, unexpected inspirations, and changes that feel exciting in the best way.

Life Lately

Bowie Quan has entered the chat—the newest (and tiniest) member of the family! Our 4-month-old mini dapple dachshund has been living his best puppy life, which mainly involves burrowing under every rug he can find and digging up every inch of my backyard. He’s the kind of chaos that feels just right—messy and sweet and exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Doggie daycare is officially his new favorite place, but honestly? It’s a toss-up between that and stealing every moment of attention possible.

The cozy months are finally here, and I couldn’t be happier. In fact, the day this post goes live is Samhain, a day that recognizes the end of the harvest and the beginning of Winter. This time of year feels like the world takes a long, slow exhale. Sure, I love the warmth of summer—I mean, living by the beach definitely has its perks—but fall? Fall is slower, introspective, and everything I need right now. There’s something grounding about cooler mornings and cozy evenings, where life moves just a bit more gently.

Studio Happenings

Big things are brewing over here, and it’s the kind of good that feels like everything is falling into place:

  • 2024 is fully booked! I’m officially scheduling custom projects starting February ‘25 and beyond. Pricing and packages will shift in 2025, so if you want to lock in ‘24 rates, now’s the time to reach out.
  • I’ve been dreaming of this for a long time, and it’s finally here—a template shop is launching! First up is Palmer, my brand-new Showit website template, dropping November 15th, just in time for an end-of-year refresh. Want to be the first to know when it goes live? Join the waitlist.
  • Alongside my new template shop is a collection of Honeybook file templates that are now live.

Inspired By…

A weekend getaway in ATL with Maggie, my biz bestie and creative soulmate. There’s just something magic about spending time with someone who just gets you—sipping coffee, creative conversations, and the kind of laughs that leave your heart full. Art museums, brand photoshoots, and homemade soup filled the hours, and I’m leaving with more ideas than I know what to do with (and the cutest friendship ring).

This season has also been reminding me to let go of the labels—to dress, decorate, and create from a place of joy instead of expectation. I’ve been working with Kerstin on curating my home, and it’s shown me how creativity flows when we follow what feels good rather than what fits a mold.

Reading & Listening

By now, we all know I’m a sucker for cozy reads, witchy audiobooks, and Pinterest rabbit holes. My current favorites are giving me all the fall vibes:

Making…

  • Palmer, my Showit website template, drops November 15th. I’ve poured so much heart into this one, and I can’t wait for you to see it.
  • Pumpkin cold foam lattes have become a near-daily ritual. Zero regrets. ☕
  • White chicken chili, which even my bean-hating husband has been devouring. It’s a new favorite around here.

Pinning…

I’ve been pinning like crazy for my interior design project with Atelier Gardey (formerly Interiors by Kerstin). We’re working on a virtual styling project to turn this new home of mine from a blank beige canvas into a cozy, intentional space. Every weekend that we’re not traveling, I’m hunting down the perfect pieces to make it ours—slowly but surely, it’s coming together.

Boards I’m loving right now:

  • Bedroom inspiration – I am crushing hard on striped headboards, and I’m not mad about it.
  • Living room ideas – I’m still trying new layouts, haven’t found the one that’s just right.
  • Office vibes – Designing a space where I’ll spend many, many hours.

This October has been a swirl of new beginnings, cozy moments, and creativity—the kind of season where everything feels just a little more intentional. I’m soaking it all in, letting the slow pace linger a bit longer. If fall has brought some changes your way, too, I hope you’re finding pockets of joy in the smallest things—a warm drink, a good book, or time spent with people you love.

Until next time, friends. Let’s keep making magic, one cozy moment at a time.
